For many, the trout opener is a time to spend with friends and family, fathers and sons. It’s a time to share great stories while getting away from the day to day routine. It marks a time for a trout fishing tradition. Those who partake do so for various reasons. But the fact of the matter is plainly clear. They do it for the love of the sport and represent what it means to be an outdoorsman.
